The team behind Mallacoota Cares live in the area and are a mix of volunteers and experts in their field. The history of Mallacoota Cares was born out of an urgent need to fill a gap in the provision of healthcare for the township’s ageing population as well as supporting the wider community. Our work is a testament to our resilience as a remote, regional area where attracting and providing health services can be challenging.
That’s why we’ve brought the three pillars of Mallacoota Cares together under one brand Ageing at Home, Health Services and the Wellbeing Centre to make it simpler for people to get support at every stage of life.
Mallacoota Cares relies on the generosity of donors to generate much-needed funds so we can continue our important work including construction of our new Wellbeing Centre. We welcome contributions, big or small, to help us help you to live well locally.
